CleverCut Lowers the Postage
Charge
With Royal Mail increasing the price
of sending letters and parcels we thought we would take
the opportunity to lower our already rock bottom postage
charges.
From midnight 29th March the new standard postage charge (for
UK customers) is only 85p and if you spend £25 or more
the postage is FREE.
We have always made a point of not profiting on postage
as is often found with mail order companies. Always remember
this when you look around our store.

New CleverCut Distribution Centre now open
CleverCut have
opened a new distribution centre. Situated on a business
park in the leicestershire countryside our new premises
mean plenty of extra space for stocking many new items.
Over the last twelve months the number of orders, average
size of each order and the amount of stock we have had
to hold has increased two fold, but we are lucky that
our new premises mean we are still able to offer a very
efficient mail order service with plenty of scope for
growth.
Although we will still be mail order only (sorry no retail
premises planned at present) we are confident we are
making the right tracks to becoming one of the best value
leading mail order craft suppliers on the web.

CleverCuts First Competition,
Win Shopping Vouchers.
Our first
competition has been added to the site.
we have called it 'Good look' because
all you have to identify the eight
images which we have cut out from images
of products found in our shop, all
you have to do is run through the shop
and see if you can spot the image (you
may need to click a product to obtain
the zoomed in images for a better look).
Three shopping vouchers are on offer, these are valued at £30, £20
and £10.

Order Turnaround Back To
2 - 3 Days
Our order turnaround is
back to 2-3 working days, this means we will
ENDEAVOUR to get your order out within 2-3 working
days after payment for the order is received.
If this is paid for by Cheque or Postal Order
this means 2-3 working days after the cheque
or postal
order clears (As a business we present Postal
Order to our business bank account instead of
the post office, these are dealt with like cheques).
Recently we have had a number of people ask why
the cheque shows as cleared on their bank statement the
day we receive this, this is due to the
way banks handle cheques, they take the money
from the account of the person who writes the
cheque the day it is presented to the bank, 4
days later they clear the cheque and credit the
person who the cheque was made out to.

Die Cut Packs now fairly priced, some packs only 79p
As the leading website
for Professional Craft Packs we have reduced
the price for alot of packs to only 79p or 89p
from the original price of 99p. We have raised
the price to £1.09 or £1.19 for our more complex
packs and we have also split some of our themed
packs down to give you more choices and colour
options.
We have also added sub categories to our Die
Cut list to help you find the packs you are after
more quickly.

Promotion
Code Feature Added To Store
We have now added
the ability to enter a promotion code when ordering
from our online store. You will see that within
the
shop there is a new box on the left hand side column
which prompts for a promotion code. To use a promotion
code simply enter it in the box and click Use
Code, you would then see the promition added to
your shopping basket.
The promotion code feature is a way of us adding
even more value, or free offers with orders. To
kick off with we have a promotion code in our advert
in the Quck Cards Book (Free with March 2003's
copy of Crafts Beautiful).
Look out for the promotion codes which in the future
we may include in adverts, mailers or our e-news.

Now Available on Order History
We now show the despatch
method and despatch date on order history. If you
wish to check the date an order has been despatched
then simply log into your account and click the
order history/status option within the CleverCut
Shop.
Please note that orders despatched
prior to the 17th February 2004 will not show this additional
despatch information.

We have made further
