 Encouraging
children to write thank you cards after birthdays and Christmas
is usually challenging for parents and boring for the children
but if they were able to decoarate their own cards with glitter
and lots of glue it would become a fun task.
School holidays can be hard but if the children were able to keep a scrapbook
it could become productive and a lovely activity for the whole family. It would
be also be wonderful to share with their friends back at School. Why not help
them create their next party invites, table decorations and party bags, the
range of projects you could do together are limitless.
As a young child I always had a special box with scissors, glue and things
to cut and stick which we called our 'Rainy Day Box.' It was saved only for
wet days and so there was something to look forward to on those miserable days.
We add all sorts to it glitter, nice paper and old cards, it was as much fun
collecting the things for the box. In the future we will be devloping more
exciting kits for the smaller creative person and maybe help you put together
your childs rainy day box.
